Day 1: October
9
Departure from the airport in New
Orleans. Arrival next day (Duration of flight to Europe is 7 hour average).

Day 2: October

Arrival in Rome. Rest for few
hours. Free day.
Day 3: October
11 (Luncheon with rotary club in Rome)
Late Start. Leave Hotel with
Private Bus around 9:00 am to go to St. Peter's in the Vatican, the largest Basilica in
the world. Early afternoon at the Sistine Chapel to see the work of Michelangelo.
Our private bus will take us to the town where the Pope's Summer Residence is
located: the charming Castel Gondolfo. Awesome place just like those towns you
see on TV. Opening night dinner at 6:45 pm at the Perla Restaurant, overseeing Lake
Albano: Eat where the Italians eat. Pasta alla Matriciana. Two different
types of meat with Patate al forno, dessert. Red and white wine included. Long
Pants.
Overnight in Rome.
Day 4: October

We will visit the Colosseum until 12:30
pm. The Colosseum is a great building that is still standing since 80 A.D.
Then the Spanish Steps around 1:30 pm. This is the place where Romans
hang out. Walk to Trevi Fountain for lunch and shopping. Walk to Pantheon, the
oldest functional building in the world and then to great artistic place of Piazza Navona
around 4:30 pm. Dinner at 6:45 pm at Al Picchio Restaurant (Trevi Fountain) to enjoy
Rome at night. Pasta of your choice, meat of your choice, dessert of your choice.
Red and white wine included. Casual dress throughout the day.

Day 5: October

Leave Hotel around 8:30 am with Private
Bus. Check-in Hotel Michelangelo (Downtown Sorrento) after visiting the incredible
city of Pompeii. Casual. Dinner at 7:00 pm in Sorrento. Red and white
wine included.
Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 6: October

The Island of Capri is the greatest
place for many people. Optional: visit the extraordinarily beautiful Blue
Grotto with its shining bottom, tour the Island, shopping. Casual dress.
Dinner at 7:00 pm in Sorrento: Pasta alla Bolonese, chicken, and dessert. Red
and white wine included.
Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 7: October
15
Check-out Sorrento. Drive along
the great Amalfi Coast to Florence. Dinner 6:45 pm at Da Carlo restaurant (subject
to change, depending what time we arrive to Florence): tons of vegetables for
Antipasto, steak, and dessert. It is the best local food in the area. Red and
white wine included. Casual dress throughout the day.
Overnight in Florence.
Day 8: October

Tour of Florence in the region of
Tuscany. Tour of the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria (Palazzo Vecchio and the
Uffizzi from the outside), Flea Market, Duomo (Cathedral), and the Baptistery. Tour
guide will show those interested the location of Galleria dell'Academia (where the statue
of David is), Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Medici Chapel (where the Medici family was
buried), and Basilica della Santa Croce (where Michelangelo and 15 other glorious Italian
artists and thinkers were buried). Have a wine tasting and dinner in rustic Tuscany.
Red and white wine included. Casual dress throughout the day.
Overnight in Florence.
Day 9: October
17
Venice: an amazing city built on
water. Visit St. Mark's Basilica & plaza. Gondola ride is optional.
Dinner at Andrea's at 6:00 pm: Pesto, Scaloppini, and dessert. Red and white
wine included. Casual dress throughout the day. Long pants if you intend to
visit St. Mark's Basilica.
Overnight in Florence.

Private bus to airport and departure
from Milan back to USA.
